Membership
The O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB is made up of more than 400 total members representing eight schools and 39 departments across UAB, along with individuals from academic research partner institutions across the state. Membership in the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center affords physicians and scientists access to internal and extramural funding opportunities, grant preparation assistance, core research facilities privileges, networking and professional development events, communications and philanthropic development support, and other professional benefits.
Become a Member
Membership in the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB is open to all faculty with cancer-related research interests. After review by the Membership Committee, applications recommended for approval are submitted to the Director for final approval. Members are assigned to the Cancer Center Research Program most fitting their research interests.
