Alabama man finally meets the woman from Germany— his one in 24 million match — who saved his life with her bone marrow donation

Jimmy Robertson had a rare blood disorder which threatened his life by way of reduced bone marrow production. The UAB  Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cell Therapy Program connected him a one-in-24-million bone marrow donor match and oversaw his successful treatment. Robertson later insisted on meeting his donor in person to show his gratitude.
