UAB Medicine and O’Neal Cancer Center host Pink Party

The UAB Medicine Radiology team and the UAB O’Neal Cancer Center hosted a Pink Party on Thursday, Oct. 22 for UAB and City of Birmingham employees.

The event provided an opportunity for attendees to socialize, to learn more about breast cancer awareness and the importance of early detection, and to take steps to prioritize their breast health. All told, the event included 36 attendees receiving a mammogram.

The O’Neal Cancer Center extends a thank you to everyone who helped make the Pink Party a success and who supported efforts to promote breast cancer awareness and screening.
